Best Applications for iPhone/iPhone 4/iPhone 4S

1. Facebook

I believe Facebook is one of the most apps for iPhone.

The revised grid-based Facebok provides speedy access to regularly visited sections (news feed, notifications, and so on) and pages, and the experience is so wonderful that beats the other browser version.

2. Skype

It's imperfect and annoyingly lacks push notifications, but Skype is still an essential download. The interface is pleasingly simple and usable, enabling anyone with a Skype account to make free calls to other Skype users and cheap calls to anywhere in the world.

If you're on Pay and Go, this is particularly handy, the app also enables iPod touch users to utilize their devices for calls.

3. Kindle

Now iBooks has arrived on the iPhone, you might wonder why you should bother with Amazon's Kindle. After all, the app's not as pretty as iBooks, nor is there an integrated store (you buy in Safari and sync purchases to the app).

However, Kindle offers a massive selection of books compared to Apple's app and the reading experience is great.

4. Twitter

After acquiring Tweetie, Twitter relaunched this as the official Twitter app for the iPhone. Its combination of polished interface, plentiful options and multi-account support meant everyone loved it - apart from cheapskates, because Tweetie wasn't free.

5. Dropbox:

I’m a big proponent of the digital nomad lifestyle, so I always stay backed up on the cloud. I want to be able to access, view, retrieve and share any of my files whether I have my computer with me or not, and the Dropbox app helps me do that.

It does require a Dropbox account, but it is free for up to 2GB of storage.
